Where I post my scanlation project now

Hello everyone, my apology for not updating this blog until now. From now on I will post my scanlation works on this site Vingle.net . I've recently found this site and completely fell in love with it. It's like a community site and has many interesting info and resources. I'm thinking of doing a different genre for my projects now which are 4-koma aka 4-panel manga. These are short and fairly easy to scanlate. I have several projects in mind like Dameyome Nikki and Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki which I have already started translating and will be putting them up on Vingle.net. My username is somnia. Please give me your support over there ne~ .

About doujinshi scanlation and future projects

When I was looking for HMC doujinshi I found a really good doujinshi info website. It's called The Doujinshi & Manga Lexicon. It has basic info on doujinshi and even sample pages. I found alot of HMC doujinshi on here but of course there's no download. I even found Chinpui doujinshi on here and my first thought was: WTH?!?! As for the raw scans available on the internet, I found Nodame Cantabile and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 and 4 (not the original Haruka series) doujinshi the other day. However, I'm not a fan of NC or Haruka and neither doujinshi is interesting enough so I won't be translating these. I'm hoping to translate more of HMC doujinshi like Honey Saids if the raw ever surfaces. I really want to read Skip Beat doujinshi as it's my current most favorite manga but of course I haven't had any luck finding it on the internet. There are two SB doujinshi being sold on ebay for unmentionable prices. I really regret not think of buying HMC doujinshi when I was in Japan last year. But I don't know if I would even be able to find it in a regular doujinshi store since they mostly have yaoi or other popular seinen series. Anyways, for future project I will translate some original one-shot manga, both smutty and cute shoujo ones. The next doujinshi project I have in mind (unless somebody translates it before me) will be from the current most famous pure love story manga. It will take some times to translate since it's about twice the length of Honey Saids and the editing is promisingly more difficult. Meanwhile, take your time to guess what series it is from :)

Howl's Moving Castle Doujinshi - Honey Saids by Bad Sheep

Hello everyone, this my first independent project. It's my first time translating and editing a manga. I haven't used PS in ages so it took some times to find my way around editing this. This is such a cute Howl's Moving Castle doujinshi and surprisingly it had never been translated by anyone before. HMC doujinshi are really hard to come by. After reading this doujinshi I looked low and high for other HMC doujinshi but couldn't find any on the internet other than the ones that are already translated. I was surprised to find this on Fakku. Anyways, since this is such a lovely doujinshi I thought it would be a waste to left it untranslated.

For this doujinshi, I tried to translate sfx when I could but sometimes it's kinda hard to translate Japanese sfx to English so I just left them alone. I think I translated most of the sfx in this doujinshi. You might notice my inconsistency in editing the sfx. I edited some of them properly but left the others alone and just put the translation next to them. I'm not exactly a master at editing and cloning takes a long time. So I only use cloning when I feel like it unless it's a dialogue. I plan to keep my projects simple this way since my focus is only translation and not editing. But overall, I think this is a decent read.

Before you proceed to the download link, please DO NOT re-upload this on any websites which include but not limited to manga download or online reader sites such as mangafox and mangatraders. The only exception I would make for this release is Fakku since I got the scans from their site. I spent hours on translating and editing and I would be really unhappy if I found my work being re-uploaded without my permission. You may, however, give people the link to my blog (NOT my upload link). Please let me know if you find this anywhere other than Fakku website.
